
Marc Dorio is a results oriented Organizational Effectiveness and Training professional as well as author with over 25 years of corporate and consulting experience gained with organizations in a wide variety of industries and settings.
Clients have included Fortune 100 and 500 corporations, manufacturing, service, non-profit, retail and privately held companies here and abroad. His professional experience ranges from Training, Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership Development to Team Development and Executive Coaching.
Prior to forming his company, Marc was Managing Director of a regional management consulting firm for 11 years and Vice President of Organizational Development for a software development company for 3 years.
Marc holds a Masters of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey and dual Masters Degrees in Human Behavior (M. Div.) and Theology (M. Th.) from St. Bernard’s College in Rochester, New York. He also has done graduate studies in Organizational Change at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, College of Psychiatry.
Marc is the author of eight books, The Personnel Manager’s Desk Book published by Prentice Hall, The Staffing Problem Solver published by John Wiley and Sons, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to the Perfect Interview (1st and 2nd editions), The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Getting the Job You Want (1st and 2nd editions) published by Macmillan and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to the Perfect Job Interview (3rd edition) and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Career Advancement both published by the Penguin Group.
Marc is a frequent guest on both local and national TV and radio news/talk shows including “Today in New York” and “The Regis and Kelly Show”. He is also staff instructor for The Center for Continuing Studies at Mercer County Community College at West Windsor, NJ. where he teaches AMA courses in Management and Human Resources. In addition, Marc serves on the Career Services Advisory Commission of the college.
